Our History

In 1890, Amuleto Silenciato arrived from Italy to the beautiful region of Sao Sebastiao do Paraiso, Minas Gerais Brazil. Back in Italy, he worked as a Coffee farmer, and he brought his know-how to the coffee-friendly region, where he built a long-standing family tradition of coffee farming. It has been four generations since Amuleto Silenciatio arrived in Brazil, and he would be happy to know that in 2021, his lands are still proudly being farmed for coffee by a group of siblings, cousins, and uncles who are his direct descendants.

We count on a network of farmers with who we have built relationships for generations. We have always worked directly with our farmers, and we take pride in our style of doing business; our family's reputation around the region would give any potential buyer comfort that you are working with farmers who respect and passionately love the art of cultivating coffee. We only work with regional farmers who share similar ideals, traditions, and a genuine love for coffee and the process of farming it. We prioritize producers who have been farming for generations and whose families still work the lands their great or great-great grandfathers left them.
